- Born in 1976. Vocational training at the department of biology of the taxidermist's college in Bochum (certificate in 1995).
- Subsequently, traineeship in the entomological section at the SMNS until July 1996. Afterwards, change to the Department of Zoology and since 2001, employed as taxidermist in the ornithological section.
- Advanced training in Bad Dürkheim (glycerine method for small mammals) and Bern/Switzerland (introductory course in dermoplastination).
