Responsibilities:

• preparation of amber inclusions for scientific studies: cutting, polishing, embedding in artificial resin, preparation of thin sections
• conservation of amber: embedding and coating amber specimens with artificial resin or varnish
• assistance in the curation of the amber collection, for example cataloguing the staphylinid-inclusions
• scanning electron microscopy
• organisation of exhibitions
